Topic:  Investigations Primer in a Remote Workplace

Human Resource professionals must keep up with the ever-changing way we do business in a pandemic.  This includes investigating complaints of misconduct, which have been on the rise.  Many investigative interviews are being conducted remotely, which requires adaptability and changes to the process.  Issues include planning, preparation, timing, technology, effective communication, credibility determinations,  confidentiality, and privacy.  Pre-interview communications with the parties and witnesses are also important to lay the groundwork for a productive interview.  Learn how to ensure your investigations hold up to scrutiny in the wake of COVID-19.
