Description:  Effective coaching can be a powerful tool in increasing the performance of employees in the organization.  Coaching is not just an activity but an attitude.

There are essential skill sets that a manager/leader needs to be an effective coach.  In addition, there is a process that a coach needs to follow as well.  This presentation will cover the essentials of becoming not just a good coach but an awesome one.  This presentation will include interactive activities to develop your coaching skill sets.

 

Objectives:     Attendees will learn:

  • What is coaching?
  • The 5 steps in the coaching process
  • How to ask powerful questions.
  • Tips and techniques in enhancing your coaching skills.
  • How to build accountability in the coaching process.

Ted Gorski holds a PCC credential from International Coach Federation, the most recognized and highly respected worldwide body representing the executive coaching profession.

Ted has distinguished his career with intensive training and experience at several levels of technical and managerial responsibility. He is uniquely qualified to address workplace communication challenges and make dramatic improvements where they are most needed.

During the 16 years he spent in the extremely competitive software industry, Ted Gorski trained and mentored managers as well as support staff in areas ranging from sales to operations and finance.

In addition to Ted’s MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and Bachelor’s degree from Bentley University, his education certifications include:
