Jessica sees time on the mat as an opportunity to nurture the entire self: health of body, mind, and spirit. After earning a degree in Public Relations, she set out on what would become nearly 15 years in the corporate world. In these years, Jessica has been able to maintain the balance between career and personal well-being. Yoga serves her in this balance while providing useful tools to promote relief and self-healing.
Jessica's desire to pass along the benefits of yoga served as inspiration to become a certified instructor. With a deep respect for Ashtanga, and an appreciation for proper alignment, Jessica chose to study the YogaWorks method, under the precise and luminous instruction of Natasha Rizopoulos. The sequencing lengthens and strengthens, with a focus on healthy alignment for each individual body. She empowers her students to see each time on their mat as a new moment, an opportunity to listen to the body, clear the mind, work to their own edge, and grow. Her personal approach is both inspiring and challenging.
