TOPIC: "The Changing Work Force.... Moving to WFH Or Hybrid.  How Covid Has Changed How We Work, How We Manage Employees, How We Engage the Team"

Is it remote, is it virtual, is it hybrid, is it all hands-on deck?  These are the continued questions that all organizations big and small are still grappling with as Covid fatigue takes hold.  Inflation is hitting all of us hard, and more and more potential employees are readjusting their goals and making sacrifices that are causing HR professionals to increase the elasticity of their workforces.  Our panel of experts will include: an employment lawyer, an HR strategy consultant, an HR executive, and a recent graduate working at a global financial services company.  We will discuss the demands on flexibility and transformational leadership in the new age of people management and strategies that increase retention and build a truly elastic workforce that drives more empathy and compassion.  Legal considerations for remote workers will also be covered.

Our Panel:  Attorney Tracey Diamond, Nat Boughton and Wyllie Boughton.

Attorney Tracey Diamond is an experienced member of Troutman Pepper's Labor + Employment Practice Group who partners with clients to structure their workforce in the most efficient and effective way possible to help them achieve their business goals. She counsels clients on workplace issues, provides harassment training, conducts internal investigations, drafts policies and procedures, negotiates employment and severance agreements, and advises on independent contractor, FMLA, and ADA compliance issues. Tracey also vigorously defends companies against allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation in federal and state courts and administrative agencies, and regularly litigates restrictive covenant cases and wage and hour class and collective actions.

Nat Boughton is an award-winning author, talent management & strategy consultant and executive coach. He has been interviewed on CNBC and has worked with Fortune 500 clients like Biogen, GE and Toyota, as well as many technology startups. His ability to embrace all things people related in a variety of industries and organization makes him uniquely qualified to add insight into the struggles of a remote and virtual workforce.  He is currently Head of People for a completely remote start up software company.

Wyllie Boughton is in private wealth management, as a licensed client services associate advisor with the Deatherage Group at Morgan Stanley.  Upon graduating in her backyard in 2020 when her college was shut down due to Covid, she was subsequently hired on Zoom.  She worked remotely for the first 18 months of her professional career while getting both Series 7 & Series 23 certifications.  She now works in a hybrid model where she goes into to her Manhattan office several days per week.
