Mental Health in the Workplace: Navigating the Legal Implications When Employees Experience Mental Health Issues (60 Minutes)

Employers are increasingly faced with employees who are experiencing mental health issues. This panel presentation will look at both the legal parameters, such as accommodation, leave issues, and confidentiality, as well as practical initiatives, including education and resources, an employer can offer to provide support to their employees.

Labor Law for Everyone – What Every Employer Needs to Know (40 Minutes)

This is a labor law presentation for everyone.  This presentation will focus on the major recent changes in the law at the National Labor Relations Board which effect all employers, whether union or non-union.  Topics will include handbook and workplace rules, new potential expanded scope of damages for ULPs and new guidance on the use of technology to track and monitor employees.
